CCNP Routing & Switching Certification
CCNP certification validates a network professional’s ability to install, configure and troubleshoot converged local and wide area networks with 100 to 500 or more nodes. Network Professionals who achieve the CCNP have demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to manage the routers and switches that form the network core, as well as edge applications that integrate voice, wireless, and security into the network.

Exam Registration
You can either register through Pearson VUE website or your nearest authorized exam center.

Exam Scoring
Usually around 80-85%
Passing scores are set by using statistical analysis and are subject to change. At the completion of the exam, candidates receive a score report along with a score breakout by exam section and the passing score for the given exam. Cisco does not publish exam passing scores because exam questions and passing scores are subject to change without notice.

About Recertification
CCNA and CCNP certifications are valid for 3 years. To keep certifications current, you should recertify by advancing to the next level of certification or passing the designated recertification exam(s).
