careercert said...: No missing questions...the number of questions are same..in fact the questions are decreased in v6.85. They divided the questions in to sections and counted the start of section page in questions. So basically there is no new question.

I still have 3 cbt parts. A few minutes ago i extracted them and checked video 9. It is absolutely fine and running smoothly. Are you sure that you have placed all three parts in the same folder and then extracted it??

Personally i love to watch cbt nuggets videos. I like the way in which Jeremy describes the concepts. He is the best video trainer(entertainer :D)out there. You never bore while listening him.
On the other hand Chris Bryant is a very serious person..but his videos are very technical and straight to the point. Generally i start Train signal videos after watching cbt, just for extra knowledge.; July 30, 2009 2:35 AM

At the completion of the exam, candidates receive a score report along with a passing score for the given exam. Q's 63 and 65 fail to take into account the feasibily rule which state AD must be LT FD of best route before it can be consider no matter the variance.

Q 42 is repeat of another question which had right answer but 42 has wrong answer

Q71 has wrong answer and wrong explanation. Routers are mixed up in drawing. Hub can not be configured eigrp stub. And so also if Hub were really stub, stub command say eigrp stub static and the only static route is not in list of network command. Can not put any route over to other router.

Can't remember Q86 and 29 content only that I wrote on my test "wrong answer" after researching.

I have pass the test with 977/1000,I must say that read only P4S so that you can surely pass on your first try.Questions are coming excactly same as provided by P4S.But beware that some questions are which are multiple choice there are more choices given in the exam. for example in P4S you have to choose 3 answer among 5 choices but in the real exam there will be upto 8 choices.Simulations were quit same as given by P4S.In a Question where it said if you want maximum number you have to delete unnessary commands but in P4S they haven't, so it is your duty to find out the error and rectify it.

Only difference i got in exam wrt to simulation is that .. In redistribution got isis metric to be be set to 57 . And in case of EIGRP metric parameters was 256kbps,2ms,255,1,1500.

Well I got 61 Questions including 3 labs and rest depends on CISCO how many questions they give you, its very simple if u have many question like me (61) then only 3 labs but if u get less question between 50 to 55 then surely u will get 4 labs. So, be prepare and Good Luck for ur exam.

If you are going for your exams just go through pass4sure dumps only.Make sure you through it at least 4 times after reading the cisco press.

Today i gave 642-901 exam (02 Nov) and passed.

Those who are planning to give this month they can go for the p4s 6.85Ver 385 Q & A.

The new version that is on the p4s site is basically the omitted questions from the previous set. (As you may have noticed that there are many repetitions on the 3.85 ver, those got omitted). Got this info from the site online chat.
But they were insisting to read the new version.
I didnt know why but i cleared the paper with v3.85.

But,You people can wait for the new version.

But I had no choice since my ccna was expiring on 4 Nov 2009.

To my shock I got 5 simulations, yes *FIVE*
Thankfully all were from the v3.85 p4s.

50 questions were there.

when i reached 40 , i already did 4 simulations.
worst part was the fifth one was 48th..and i had only 9 mins.

Luckily I got 916....phew ;)

I passed yesterday my BSCI 642-901.... I used the CBT Nuggets, the Cisco Press and read the P4S 6.85 (Self-Installer).... there are some differences I found between the P4S and the real exam...... like they change the order for the answers, added more options for multiple selection items, changed IP Addressing, Hostnames, etc.... so even though P4S is such a big help study is a MUST....

I got a total of 4 Labs.... EIGRP, OSPF IPV6, Redistribution ISIS to EIGRP and another I dont remember...

2. 3 simulations - luckily: virtuallan, redistribute, eigrp

4. P4S v6.85 is really getting outdated, il advise anyone to read 6.85 and the latest.
5. it was a strong one: it got to a time, i typed copy run start on my simulation and the stuff dint save...i went bunkers
6. IP addresses, hostnames, sequence of options and number of options changed, so reading is a must
7. Careercert, now to bcmsn which materials would you advise?

You said the eigrp delay was 4ms.....but wouldn't that be 4000 microseconds therefore need to divide by 10 to give a delay of 400 when redist'ed from isis..?

I was doing the ipv6 ospf virtual link configuration when I couldn't execute the copy run start command! Anyway, I called pearson vue and had them create an incident report for me so that I can get a refund.

There were q's on the exam I had not seen before. I used p4s (6.85 and 3.42) and test inside 7.12. Most questions were on p4s and maybe 2 or 3 from test inside. But approx. 25% of the questions I had not seen before so could be new of could be on other dumps that I didn't use....
Time was tight so don't spend too much time on any one question.

I was not able to execute the copy run start command for the lab scenario of OSPF virtual link. I moved on this time to the next question without breaking my head over it, unlike the last time where I spent a lot of time trying to get it right.

One suggestion I would like to make to everyone taking up these exams - please turn on a timer when you are preparing with the dumps. This will make sure you finish the exam on time. Be prepared to finish 56 questions in 90 minutes or less.

There were so many questions came from the latest TI which not even on p4s latest version. I think there is an update that p4s needs to work on soon. you will definitly need to get hold of the latest TI and know the new questons and p4s posted here well, you should be good to go.

I tried "wr mem, copy running-config startup-config"...etc but nothing seems to be working. I just moved on to the next questions. Timing is very tight on this test, so be very familiar with all the study materials. 56 questions 90 minutes, passing 790. I scored 897/1000.
