Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA®) validates knowledge required to design a Cisco converged network. With a CCDA certification, a network professional demonstrates the skills required to design routed and switched network infrastructures and services involving LAN, WAN, and broadband access for businesses and organizations. The CCDA curriculum includes designing basic campus, data center, security, voice, and wireless networks.
CCDA Prerequisites:
CCNA level knowledge(not the certificate) and BCMSN level knowledge is needed to prepare for the CCDA certification exam.
Required Exam:
640-863 DESGN -Designing for Cisco Internetwork Solutions (DESGN)
CCDA Recertification:
CCDA certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, either pass the current CCDA exam, or pass any 642 professional level or Cisco Specialist exam (excluding Sales Specialist exams), or pass a current CCIE written exam.

Yes, $150 or 135 EUR here in Europe. I passed with 1000/1000 today (23.12.2010) and prepared wih TI 5.71, P4S 2.77, AT 1.3-221 questions. I expected there would be changes after November 8 but it seems it’s still the same 640-863 exam. For example there was no question about data center virtualization as mentioned in 2.1 exam topics here.

Exam fee was 150 EUR (I“m from EU), but in e-mail with subject “Cisco Testing Confirmation Letter”, there was something like this:

Unfortunatelly, Cisco is counting 1USD = 1EUR

Can you please tell me that what’s the difference between the following two.I have copied it from cisco website
CCDA DESGN Exam Refresh v2.1
Candidates who have exams scheduled on Nov. 8, 2010 or later should prepare using the CCDA DESGN v2.1 Exam Topics (blueprint).
Candidates with exams scheduled prior to Nov. 7, 2010 should continue using the existing CCDA DESGN v2.0 Exam Topics (blueprint). Please view the DESGN Study/Learn tab for more information on how to study and prepare for the exam.

I passed ccda this week, scored 1000/1000. Duration of test: <13 minutes.
Used: p4s 181q, actual test 221 and TI 128q
All of them are valid. But…
TI(128q) doesn`t contain all q
AT(221q) IMO contains too much q (not all of them are really used)
P4S(181q) is maybe best choice, but in some questions, there are only 4 choices (ABCD), but there are 5 choices (ABCDE) in real test…
P4S will be enough, but TI+P4S+AT (respectively) will ensure 100% success.

The TI and P4s are still valid……. I studied the ones on careercert website, and passes yesterday….. The questions were 95% same. I got only 2 drag n drop out of the dumps…. One was on WAN and other was on security…. but hey…. only 2 outside 65…. not a bad deal….

It is not testinside but certifyme.
and it is posted on March 5, 2010. So it is very old.
testinside v5.71 which has 128 question is still valid.
