Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP®) validates advance knowledge and skills required to integrate into underlying network architectures. Furthermore, this certification validates a robust set of skills in implementing, operating, configuring, and troubleshooting a converged IP network. With a CCVP certification, a network professional can help create a telephony solution that is transparent, scalable, and manageable. The CCVP curriculum focuses on Cisco Unified Communications Manager (formerly Unified CallManager), quality of service (QoS), gateways, gatekeepers, IP phones, voice applications, and utilities on Cisco routers and Cisco Catalyst switches.
CCVP Prerequisites
CCNA Voice (not mandatory) or any CCIE Certification can act as a pre-requisite.
Important information regarding CCNA Voice
On June 24th, 2009, Learning@Cisco announced program changes to the CCNA Voice certification. There will now be two options available for candidates wishing to achieve their CCNA Voice certification: A commercial option and an enterprise option.
Now if you take CVoice (642-436) exam then you would automatically eligible for the CCNA voice certification. But you must have a valid CCNA certification.

Hi MAN, i have one thing to tell you. I am sorry.
Passing in certifications using only braindumps is the worst thing that a IT professional can do, because, one day, this knowledge will be tested and on this day, the real professionals will be really proven.
Probably, they will ask you many questions that will you only know if you had real experience, be in real aproaches or in lab aproaches.
So, I wish you luck and I leave a advice (you don´t ask mut i will). If you pass or no, install a CUCM in a virtual machine, install 2-3 windows virtual machines, install them the IP Communicator, review each topic from CCNP Voice doing many labs.
Thus, will you be a real CCNP Voice and will get any interview.

Today I failed the 642-447 exam (755/1000 and you need 790/1000 to pass)

I did not pass CIPT 1 642-447 I got a 778 and needed above 790. This is the 9th Cisco exam I have taken but the first one I have yet to pass on my first attempt. Similar experience to when I took the CVOICE exam 642-437. I knew the material, and verified the Q&A against the student guides but the highest I could get was 815. I had someone else took it one week later who is studying with me who also had the same Q&A matching the test and highest he could get was 825. So word to the wise you cannot miss any points on these exams. Even if you have all of the material no one is getting in the 900s which means that there is very little margin for error.

Yesterday I took the 642-447 exam, passed with 848, found it very difficult the test, about 3 questions Presence, CSS, MOH, Transformations of numbers, artitions, 7 D & D, finally many specific questions, 70 questions were in total.

Please be ready to answer to many questions related to SAF Forwarder. Most of the questions are also related to trace files.
I used for learning the materials for 642-422 TUC … but I was very close not to pass the exam. So, please again try to find some materials for the new features (SAF Forwarder)

I used the materials for previous version (642-422 TUC) … but I was very close to fail the exam (my score was 725 … and the minimum score for pass was 720)

Some people are not too happy on this forum. But I do want to help people. The problem is that the files are large totaling over 1/2 GB and I don’t have a fast internet connection. The files can be shared but only on a peer to peer basis not via me uploading them to rapidshare or something. If you are someone who is serious about CCNP then I would love to help you and my post is easy to find. I hope that many people who need this assistance can get it, if not from me then someone else.
